Parents of GALL - we are sharing with you information from our neighboring LL Desert Ridge - GALL is making a donation on the behalf of the LL to help the family.

LL Family & Friends:
It is with great sadness that we tell you one of our players passed away
yesterday at the very young age of 12. Jesse Gonzalez Cortez played in our
program for many seasons. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with an ongoing
illness.
The Cortez family needs our help. We ask every member of the DRLL family
to do whatever he/she can to help this family in their time of need.

Presidents Award
A 100 word essay. This
year - this NEEDS to be hand written by the player. You can then scan
it and email it in - or send it to GALL, PO Box 212, Higley, AZ 85236 For
Players in our T-ball, Farm and Rookie Divisions, or any new players -
The subject is "What are you looking forward to learning/getting out of
playing baseball?" For Players Minors age and above - "What life lessons have you learned from participating in baseball?" A
winner will be chosen from each division. The registration for that
player - will be refunded for this year - along with a pullover GALL
windbreaker - and a Gift Card to Dick's Sporting Goods. The winners will be announced on Opening day - so ALL essays must be emailed, or postmarked - by March 20th.
